Lab testing in situ electrolytical oxygen production (a 1998 Geo & Hydro R&D
project) can be monitored using a copper transfer reaction:
the weight of the copper on the electrode equals the amount
of current in the system and therefor the amount of oxygen produced.
As this is used in the biological reaction the measurement according to
the Law of Coulomb is easy and precise.
