Recovery of "free product" is seldom easy, and when there are numerous auxilary
chemicals dissolved into the product the recovery process is even more complex.
One of the frequently encountered problems is emulsification.
Even when the product is separated before the pump, there still may be an
emulsion. Lab tests (as pictured)
can give insight in ways to eliminate the emulsion quick enough to avoid delays
in the recovery process.
