Leak prevention and detection & Tracer Tank Test
Leak prevention starts with testing every connection and every section of tubing
before backfilling the location.
Installing a Leak detection system is easy at this stage:
Geo & Hydro developed a modem controlled Multi Point Leak Detection
system in 1993, which was implemented on many service stations.
Besides detecting leaks and providing this information real-time 24 hrs
/day to a central alarm unit, the system is useful in testing tanks and lines on
a regular basis using tracers (Tracer Tank Test).
