Full scale Bioventing in deep unsaturated sediments requires multi-level monitoring
of oxygen, carbondioxyde, hydrocarbon vapours as well as soil humidity and
temperature. Bioventing projects (unsaturated zone) first commenced
around 1993, as shown in this picture.
